The ongoing conservation of the James Murchie home requires regular maintenance. While costly, this has to be done. Before the snow falls, we are repairing the cedar shingle mansard roof at an estimated cost of $50,000.

Since 1961, we have been preserving artifacts presenting exhibitions and offering educational programs and tours about the history of Charlotte County.

Our summer students are back and have made some updates for 2026 including a new Ganong room and a Charlotte County Sports corner.
